Sitting Isn’t the Same as Resting
At the end of most days, people don’t think about resting. They think about sitting down.
After work, after dinner, after everything else — you drop onto the nearest seat and tell yourself you’ll relax “in a minute”. But your body doesn’t follow. Your shoulders stay tense. Your legs feel heavy. You shift position, again and again, trying to get comfortable.
That moment — when sitting still doesn’t feel like rest — is where this recliner begins.
We noticed something simple but important:
most homes have plenty of places to sit, but very few places that truly let the body rest.
Sofas are made for sharing.
Accent chairs are made to look good.
Most chairs ask your body to keep working — holding posture, supporting weight, staying upright.
This recliner was designed to do the opposite.
